What drew us to miniature poodles?

We are Jon and Jasmine Tarter. We live in Indiana and love seeing our poodles become valued members of your family.

I, Jasmine, grew up in a large family, 15 kids! We actively participated in showing dogs and doing obedience training with them. My mom raised Great Pyrenees and Bearded Collies. My dog was a Bearded Collie. I enjoyed going to events with her, and winning ribbons.

When we had our own children, we quickly learned our 2nd child had a lot of allergies, and and owning a dog wasn’t an option for that season. Fast forward a few years, and God blessed us with our first miniature poodle, which we discovered to our great delight didn’t cause breathing issues or reactions. We then added our 2nd poodle to the family as we realized they were a perfect fit for us. Then we added a third, and the story goes on from there. We love the miniature size because they aren't so big as to get into things, but perfect for your lap. They are not so small you feel like you are going to injure them if they accidentally get in your way either.

Our three children are teenagers and young adults now, and love having our poodles as part of the family. They are very active in socializing and loving the dogs we have been blessed to call ours.

Our poodles live in the house with us as family members. Our little ones are raised right in the kitchen/living room with us, so well accustomed to household noise and activities. They are introduced to litter box training at an early age to give you a head start on your potty training adventure.

We do not ship our puppies, but we are only about 35 minutes from the Indianapolis Airport, and are more than happy to meet you there if you are traveling in to pick up your puppy.
